  • M.Tech mechanical Engineering in Production is the study of designing integrate systems equipments, materials production and manpower to expand production of goods and services.
  • The Department of Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering is one of the most extensive departments for faculty, students and diverse activities. It has highly qualified, genuine and knowledgeable professors and state-of-the-art labs and facilities.
  • This department’s goal is to develop high quality, sustainable and excellence-based technical engineers in emerging fields through basic and applied science.
  • The Ministry of Production Mechanical Engineering improves the comprehension and implementation of mechanical engineering concepts and enhances efficiency, teaching and study, for the technical development of the country.
  • Today, the world of manufacturing mechanical engineers under the influence of sophisticated computing software and much improved modelling and analysis as well as completely different manufacturing protocols. It opened up a new period of research in the Department, including fluid dynamics, heat transfers, progressive manufacturing, CAD / CAM / CIM, robotics and mechanicaltronics, management and control engineering of operations.

The main features of the program:

  • The programme [M.Tech. Mechanical In Production Engineering] is of 4 semesters with classes in evening, weekends and holidays (during the day time). Practicals are held each Saturday.
  • Students can access learning material in various formats: text, video lectures and audio anytime from everywhere through a Learning Management System.
  • Student’s performance is assessed continuously throughout the semester by quiz, assignments, mid-semester and end-semester exams. The assessment results are shared with the students to improve their performance.
  • Students learn to build up the technical skills to enhance their professional value.

  • The course emphasises on Experiential Learning that allows students to apply theoretical concepts in real work situations. Practicals are held each Saturday.
  • Students can access learning material in various formats: text, video lectures and audio anytime from everywhere through a Learning Management System.
  • Students performance is assessed continuously throughout the semester by quiz, assignments, mid-semester and comprehensive exams. The assessment results are shared with the students to improve their performance.
  • Final semester students will carryout a semester-long intensive project work applying the various concepts acquired in classrooms and labs under the guidance of mentor and supervisor.

Working professionals should have passed B.tech /B.E in relevant disciplines with at least 50% aggregate marks.
